This version 1.42 release mainly addresses about a dozen bugs and also includes a few other minor improvements. Upgrade 3 is required before running this patch. Gamespot let us know that the PC version of LucasArts' space-combat action game Star Wars Starfighter has gone gold and will arrive in stores next week. The game was first released last February on the Sony PlayStation 2, and a special edition of the game for the Microsoft Xbox was released in November. The game lets players participate in a number of missions to save the Naboo from the Trade Federation, ending in an assault on a droid control ship. It features more than 20 detailed spaceships and 14 3D environments in both air and space.
