Microsoft Game Studios just let us know that they have launched the Rallisport Challenge official Web site for the PC version. Rallisport Challenge is a slick racing game first popularized on the Xbox. The site has all the latest on the game such as a features, a screenshot slideshow, streaming video footage, system requirements (and list of supported video cards), details on the four race types, the various racing classes and the 29 fully licensed cars in the game.

Today the official nominations for this year’s Golden Joystick Awards are announced. Amongst the front-runners at this stage are EA Games’ Medal of Honor franchise, which has been nominated in five categories (including Game of the Year and Online Game of the Year), Take Two’s Grand Theft Auto III (three nominations) and Blizzard’s WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos (also three nominations). In total, more than 60 computer and video games, products and services have been nominated across 14 separate categories.

Enix America's sequel to Grandia for PS2, Grandia Xtreme has gone gold and will be available in stores on September 30th. This adventure-RPG hybrid, featuring voices from Hollywood actors such as Mark Hamill, Dean Cain and Lisa Loeb, is set in a fully 3D-rendered world and contains an elaborate mix of real-time and turn-based battle systems in which the elemental powers of Fire, Air, Earth and Water can be wielded against opponents. Grandia Xtreme comes on the heels of the re-released version of the Dreamcast-title Grandia 2 for PS2 and the PC.

TimeSplitters 2 is the sequel to the hugely successful and critically acclaimed TimeSplitters, which was released to coincide with the US and European launches of PlayStation 2. Silent Hill 2: Inner Fears takes players to the eerie town of Silent Hill, where they assume the role of James Sunderland. James has received a cryptic letter from his wife, asking him to meet her in Silent Hill, a place that holds great meaning for the couple. What would normally be a comforting, romantic letter scares and confuses James, as his wife has been dead for three years. The mystery of the letter compels him to return to the surreal horror and all-too-real danger in the monster-ridden town of Silent Hill.

As expected the demo version of No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way has been released and
