You can now sign up on Atari's official beta test web site to test the upcoming free Unreal 2 multiplayer expansion pack. The unreal 2 multiplayer mode is a class-based team game where players fight for control of artifacts and energy using a deadly arsenal of weaponry, vehicles, and defenses. While you are there you can also sign up to beta test the upcoming multiplayer oriented Terminator 3: War of the Machines (thanks HomeLAN).

Encore Signs More JoWood Titles

Encore today announced that it has expanded its co-publishing agreement with JoWooD Productions Software AG, an Austrian game publisher and developer. Under this new agreement, Encore will manage the sales, distribution and marketing exclusively in North America for over a dozen new PC games, a back catalog of an additional two dozen PC titles, and a handful of console games. (AVP) to develop AVP's The History Channel WWII: The Battle of Britain, a new single player game to North American retail outlets in October. 'Chariots of War' - English Beta Map Pack

This is a Beta pack and as such is still under testing.. The map pack "6 MB" includes 7 new maps which allow you to fight over all the areas covered in Legion. The maps have been converted to the Chariots of War format but still use the nations and units available in Chariots of War, not the units available in Legion! Xbox Review - 'The Great Escape'

‘The Great Escape’ video game is based on the 1963 Oscar nominated film staring Steve McQueen and revolves around actual events during WW2. The game is set in a number of unique locations, from POW camps to a mountain-top castle. Game levels include a busy hospital, a chase through a moving train and escape from an active Luftwaffe airfield. The core of the game centres on the largest mass breakout ever, from the ‘escape proof’ Stalag Luft III prisoner of war camp.
