Akella and Numlock Software signed an agreement that Akella is the worldwide exclusive owner of the IP rights for the Numlock’s upcoming tactical game “Planet Prison”. Planet Prison is a tactical game with real-time/stepwise modes. Help Lanthan and Sheris, survivors of an emergency landing, escape a planet filled with vicious criminals. The player navigates a protagonist through a 2.5D isometric world to find and destroy the leader of the evil empire that enslaved the prisoners.

Planet Prison is your worst nightmare. It's your worst fear. PLANET PRISON - a world without freedom or justice. And you are a SLAVE! You don't know what the future holds for you or who's hiding around the corner. All you know is that you have to get out of there. The sooner the better… On Planet Prison, there's only one law: the strongest and the smartest will survive!

Features:

  • Battle system allows action both in real time and stepwise modes
  • Up to six characters in your party with character development elements
  • Huge game universe and lots of interactive environments
  • Dozen NPC's to interact with, countless enemies to battle
  • Vast number of weapons and gadgets to use
  • Impressive 'post-nuclear' cyberpunk game aesthetics

Alexander Belkin, producer at Akella says: “we enjoy collaborating with the Numlock’s talented and professional development team. We were very selective in the choice of a team and project to publish and now we may predict the success and positive ranks Planet Prison will receive as a tactical game with real-time/stepwise modes.”

Alexander Filatow, leading Programmer at NumLock Software says: "we are looking ahead for an interesting work with a Russian publisher, that will allow us to develop a modern tactical strategy game, expanding the tactical possibilities of Fallout and Baldur’s gate. The main idea of the current production is to profit from the know-how of Akella to achieve best results in the final product."
