Chronos is Saber Interactive’s, previously known for PC shooter Will Rock, new first person action game under development for the PC, Xbox and PS2 that is built on the second generation of the Saber3d Engine. Its’ cinematic quality graphics, immersive storyline and intense gameplay promise to make it one of the best games in the genre (thanks Homelan). The DesertCombat team has released the next major public alpha of DesertCombat. Part of Public Beta 0.7 is fixing issues that came up with the BF1942 v1.6 patch but also new maps, and most of all optimization and bug fixes, so you can expect DesertCombat to run a lot better on most machines. Besieger introduces a world filled with feudal rivalry in which players can wage war as either Viking or Cimmerian warriors. Contenders can build flying vehicles for combat or siege towns on horseback in an effort to conquer factions such as Ogres, Werewolves, Centaurs, and other non-human races. The armored walls of a barricade can be shattered using a battering ram and competitors can pocket enemy buildings and equipment. Disclosed in this Team 17 forum thread, Martyn 'Spadge' Brown revealed that they are currently working on an all NEW game in the long runninf Worms series. No specfiic details were revealed, although it was made in reponse to a "Worms RTS" thread, which i will NOT be. 'Spadge' did say that the game is due late 2004, and the first details (including the name) would be announced somewhere this month (Feb 2004). Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) announced today that it would launch a special limited edition Aqua colour version of its PlayStation2. A limited number of units of PlayStation 2 will be available across PAL territories from early March. Additional Aqua accessories will also be available in March including an Aqua Vertical Stand (for PlayStation 2) and a Memory Card (8MB) (for PlayStation 2).

Electronic Arts and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) announced today they have signed an agreement for EA to develop, publish and distribute the official videogame of UEFA EURO 2004 under the EA SPORTS brand which will be an official interactive entertainment experience of the EURO 2004 tournament. The EA SPORTS UEFA EURO 2004 officially licensed game will be developed and published by EA this summer to coincide with the finals of the UEFA EURO 2004 tournament in Portugal.
