New weapons, new armor and a new race for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Xbox! New content is now available for download through Xbox Live! The content features a new race, the Trandoshans, and a new area, Yavin Station, selling high level armor and additional lightsaber crystals. Players can purchase additional weapons, such as the Baragwin heavy repeating blaster and flame thrower, and new items, including an Advanced Bio-Stabilizer Mask that will provide immunity to poison. LucasArts and BioWare Corp. have made the Game of the Year even better - the journey continues for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic!

Ubisoft announced its highly-anticipated tactical tropical shooter, Far Cry has gone gold. Far Cry is scheduled to release on March 23. The Far Cry "Research" demo is currently available online and appears as the featured demo on PC Gamer's April issue demo disc, which hits newsstands on March 16. The third and final demo, entitled "Boat," is a Windows XP demo that will release worldwide on March 15. Far Cry will be available for the PC for a suggested retail price of $39.99.

Got Game Entertainment today announced that "A Quiet Weekend in Capri," a game of mystery and enchantment set on the mystical island of Capri, began shipping to retail this week. A first-person adventure for the PC, the game is uniquely packaged with a bonus travel feature on the real island of Capri as well as a separate CD soundtrack of original music. Already drawing excellent reviews and industry awards, the game, with its enveloping story, extended gameplay, mood-evoking soundtrack, and realistic puzzles, has been succinctly described as "'Myst', but in a real location."

Players will be able to take the reins of their preferred team through European and World Championships. Over 15,000 real players are included within the game.
