Electronic Arts is pleased to announce that NCAA Football 2005 has officially gone gold for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube. The game will be in stores on July 15 and is the first EA SPORTS title to have Xbox Live capability. Last year's game was the #2 football game in the marketplace and #9 selling console videogame in North America.

After previously being delayed for an undetermined period of time,
the official Far Cry website has now been updated with word that the Far Cry v1.2 patch is in its final stages and is expected to be released soon. During the past few days, the FarCry mod community (especially German based mods) went "on strike" and threatened to take their mod development to other game engines if UbiSoft did not release the promised patch & SDK soon. new listing on EBGames indicating that Vivendi might be bringing Starbreeze's The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay to the PC. The listing has an estimated ship date for the PC port as November 15th 2004 (for the low price of $29.99), and while these online store listing are often nothing but wild rumours, an Xbox to PC port is not such a atretch.
