'NARC' and 'Powerdrome' Coming to the PC

Zoo Publishing keeps bringing the surprises as earlier they caused some excitement by revealing it was bringing Sudeki to PC, now the UK publisher also has listings for Midway's action game NARC and Argonaut Games' sci-fi racing game Powerdrome. While NARC has not yet been released on the consoles, the PC version has a tentative June 1st, 2005 release date, and Powerdrome is schedule for a month later, July 1st 2005 (thanks Blues). No specific details are available as of yet, but more information should become available shortly.

Dutch magazine Sen Gamer claims to have received confirmation from its former editor in chief, who now works for EA, that C&C: Red Alert 2 is headed for Nintendo's handheld. While there is absolutely no confirmation of any kind, it would technically be very feasable for an RTS like the C&C series to be ported to the NDS, its dual screen could allow for real time action on the main screen, while the menus to build and buy units would be placed on the bottom display. And even bigger rumor is that Petroglpyh, currently working on Star Wars: Empire at War, would be the developer, and if true, Red Alert 2 for DS is scheduled for late 2005. To be taken with a big bag of salt, but why not ...
