At its annual BBQ Konami confirmed that its action rpg Ys: The Ark of Napishtim PSP port has been delayed and is being pushed back from its original November 2005 date to spring 2006. In his greatest adventure to date, Adol explores a series of islands hidden in the great vortex of Canaan where he battles with three magical swords imbued with elemental powers to gain special abilities, powerful combos, and deadly attacks. The reason for the delay was to give the development team more time to make the best possible game and not just a straight PS2 port.

'Broken Sword 4' Announced

THQ Europe and Revolution Software today announced the fourth installment in the Broken Sword series, expected in Europe and Asia summer 2006. Konami announced today a multi-year agreement with Marvel and Upper Deck that gives Konami exclusive worldwide rights to develop games for current and next generation video game systems based on the Marvel Trading Card Game. Microsoft Announces Price for Xbox 360 Versions

Today at the German Games Convention, Microsoft revealed that consumers can get their hands on the Xbox 360 for as little as $299.99 starting this holiday season. The $299 version will come with a wired controller but will not have the 20-gigabyte hard-disc drive, wireless controller, headset, Ethernet cable and wireless television remote control included in the $399 version.
