The latest title in the Harvest Moon RPG franchise is coming to the PSP under the name of Innocent Life. Developed by Arte Piazza, Innocent Life changes setting from a rural environment to a more sci-fi surrounding. The game takes place on a small island in the near future, and as before you will be growing flowers and vegetables. You no longer play as a human, but a humanoid robot, created by his scientist father Dr. Hope.

LucasArts plans to release a demo for its Star Wars themed RTS game Empire At War, on Wednesday January 18, at 9am PST (6pm Euro time). The singleplayer demo will include five tutorials, and one galactic conquest map, although only a limited amount of units will be included in the demo, the complete array is kept for the retail game which is due Febuary 16, 2006. The latest issue of GameInformer has word that Midway is working on yet another title in the Mortal Kombat franchise. Mortal Kombat: Armageddon will go back to its roots, unlike the RPGish MK: Shaolin Monks, and will feature the usual blood, gore and violence, a choice of 60 fighters, more than 20 fatality moves, Create a Kombatant mode to make your own character (like Soul Calibur 3), multiplayer and Konquest Mode. More details surely to come in the official announcement, but for now MK: Armageddon is scheduled for somewhere in 2006.
