In an interview with ComingSoon.net, Jerry Bruckheimer, known for Bad Boys, Pirates of the Caribbean and Black Hawk Down) has revealed that they have a Prince of Persia movie project lined up. "In February, we start a picture called 'Deja Vu' in New Orleans, which I think will be the first movie being shot in New Orleans since Katrina with Denzel Washington playing the lead and Tony Scott directing. He did 'Top Gun' with me and 'Enemy of the State.' Then we have a thing called 'Prince of Persia,' which is a big video game, that we're considering doing, and another thing called 'Unnatural History' that we're working on."

Study Claims Link Between Gaming and Real-World Violence

A new study by the University of Missouri-Columbia claims that there might be a link between video game violence and increased aggressive real-life behavior in gamers. Study subjects who played violent video games showed diminished brain responses to images of real-life violence which, according to the study's authors, correlates to aggressive behavior.

Ankh is a point and click adventure game in development over at German Deck 13. You play as Assil, a young Egyptian man in trouble, making his way through treacherous Cairo, avoiding evil Pharaohs, crocodiles and assassins, to lift his own death curse. In a reply to a forum members' modding question, Vivendi's Community Manager Greg revealed that the F.E.A.R. v1.03 patch is coming soon. "Apparently this problem is caused by the OP is running into a bug that’s fixed in v1.03. The new patch will be out soon." Back in December Vivendi revealed that it would include Even Balance's anti-cheat protection, Punkbuster, in the new patch, a much requested feature by the community.
