EA today revealed details on the upcoming
Battlefield 2 v1.21 patch. A limited beta test will start end of the week to make sure that the patch is thoroughly tested before it goes out officially. Issues being addressed are : Hummer/TOW crash bug in the Special Forces expansion pack, screen capture is now working, performance issues with certain ATI cards, server browser can now filter by map name, and only 2 claymores can be dropped at any one time.

Konami announced today it has shipped Yu-Gi-Oh! Double Pack for the GBA to retail stores nationwide. The classic titles Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards and Yu-Gi-Oh! Reshef of Destruction are combined onto one GBA cartridge, letting Yu-Gi-Oh! players duel in the ultimate card dueling tournaments.

the official Rainbow Six website has a clock counting down to 12 days from now, on which Ubisoft promises a major announcement. Speculations are of course going wild but it is interesting to note that the counter started ticking from 360 on down, maybe indicating that the Rainbow Six franchise is making the jump to Xbox 360.

This v1.1 beta patch fixes issues and adds gameplay elements throughout both single and multiplayer, including voice chat in multiplayer, a forecemodel option, a one-minute warning for tournament matches, fixed pure server auto-downloading, HTT support, smooth stairjumping and a ton of multiplayer specific fixes requested by the community and discovered during gameplay.

UK's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) received three complaints from viewers about
misleading TV ads regarding Activision's Call of Duty 2 and CoD2: Big Red One and has them taken off the air. The complaints were made due to pre-rendered material, made exclusively for the TV ads, that do not represent the end user quality of the product. While Activision claims such practices are standard procedure, ASA does not agree and regulations do require ad material to be accurate representations of the product.

In a Feb 13 filing with the SEC, Infinium Labs revealed several details about its rather poor financial state. In the filing, Infinium revealed it does not have enough cash and needs to raise $1.6 million in additional funds immediately, or assets may be foreclosed upon by secured lenders, or operations could completely cease. As a result, the Phantom Game Service has been put on hold to rush out its Phantom Lapboard. Infinium Labs is also moving at the end of the month, as they have been unable to pay rent on its office for several months and are being evicted.
