Playlogic has released its first quarter 2006 results, and while net revenue climbed 440% (from $0.5M to $2.7M), so did its operating loss ($0.56M to $1.2M), mainly due to higher selling, marketing, general and administrative expenses. PlayLogic is currently developing 11 titles spanning all platforms.

ArenaNet and NCsoft announce today that the studio's latest release, Guild Wars Factions, is now the top PC game in North America and Europe. NPD's weekly sales report showed Guild Wars Factions as the number-one-selling PC game for the weeks beginning April 23, 2006 and April 30, 2006.

CDV has entered into two distribution agreements with DreamCatcher Inc. As part of this agreement, DreamCatcher will distribute Glory of the Roman Empire for CDV in North America. Electronic Arts and the Jeep brand announced today that they have signed a deal that will give gamers a chance to experience Jeep vehicles in Medal of Honor Airborne as they were found in World War II. interview with Ain't It Cool News, Ritual's VP of development Tom Mustaine revealed that they are looking into bringing its episodic game to next-gen consoles. "We’re gunna do a 360 version at some point in the future. We haven’t finalized those plans yet so I haven’t really announced it yet. But we will be doing it. We also are hoping to be doing a PS 3 version as well. We were looking at Marketplace for the 360 because episodic on Marketplace would make a lot of sense."
