Blizzard Is Vivendi's Billion Dollar Baby

Over the past few fiscal quarters, it has become quite obvious that Blizzard's World of Warcraft is Vivendi's main source of income, driving its revenue month after month, but we never really knew how much cold hard cash it brought in. As the year came to an end, Vivendi made its 2007 tally, $1.51 billion for the year, up 26% compared to 2006, $1.2 billion coming from Blizzard's MMORPG.

'flOw' (PS3) Coming to the PSP As Download - Screens

flOw is about piloting an aquatic organism through a surreal biosphere where players consume other organisms, evolve, and advance their organisms into the abyss. Out of nowhere, Sony Europe revealed that Fl0w will be coming to the PSP, downloadable through the PlayStation Store, including a 2-4 player ad hoc mode. An ESRB rating confirms this as well.

Although the 'Saw' video game was revealed late last year, Brash Entertainment confirmed at a recent press event that the title is scheduled for release Oct. 2009. The brief presentation showed a grainy trailer featuring the Jigsaw puppet, telling attending journos that they were wasting their lives playing games and we should check out WhoIsJigSaw instead. Brash is working closely with creators of the SAW movies, Leigh Whannell & James Wan, and will use Epic's Unreal Engine 3. Oh Yes ... There Will be Blood!

At the Tokyo Game Show 2007 Tecmo revealed that it was working on a new title in the Fatal Frame franchise, known in Europe as Project Zero, specifically for the Wii. Earlier today the game was presented to the Japanese press, revealing that it is being worked on by Grasshopper, who recently finished No More Heroes, and once again produced by Keisuke Kikuchi.
