Koei
revealed today that its merger with Tecmo, known for the Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive series, will be completed by April 2009, as it plans to acquire Tecmo's shares for $207 million and will then henceforth operate under the Tecmo Koei Holdings label. Earlier this year, Tecmo turned down an offer from Square Enix.

Bratland is a remake of the 1991 classic Amiga/Atari ST game Brat, where you must guide a baby, Nathan, through levels with features such as dynamite, bridges and holes. You do this indirectly, by specifying which direction he goes in, in a manner vaguely similar to Lemmings. You also tell him when to use objects in a simplistic manner similar to the Dizzy games.
