National Geographic to Publish 'Afrika' (PS3) in North America

Afrika is a next-gen game for the PS3 featuring faithful replications of much of Africa's flora and fauna. Currently only released in Japan, yesterday's National Geographic Games division announcement revealed that it will publish Sony's nature themed photography game, albeit renamed as National Geographic: Africa, somewhere this month.

"Come back every two weeks to check out new items. We'll be doubling our fashion selection over the next few months." Newly arrived items will be labeled with a yellow star in the Avatar Creator Tool, although whether or not the content will be free isn't clear at this point. Microsoft also plans to roll out a full-fledged Xbox Live Avatar store in spring 2009.
