When it rains, it pours! Ever since Activision revealed it would not be renewing its ESA membership nor attending E3, several other companies announced they would not be attending (NCSoft, Foundation 9, Her Interactive), while others confirmed their presence (D3P, Warner Bros., Majesco, Bethesda, EA, etc.). One name still missing from either list was LucasArts, and today PR director Margaret Grohne announced that while LucasArts will no longer be an ESA member, it would still be attending the E3.

Atlus' Operation Darkness is an epic fantasy WWII turn-based strategy game from Metal Saga developers Success. Set during WW2 you are part of an special ops team tasked with tracking down Hitler, featuring multiple scenarios, mixing historical events with fiction.

Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue signed into law the 2008 Entertainment Industry Investment Act (HB 1100), new legislation designed to encourage entertainment industry productions such as qualified films, TV series, commercials, music videos, and video game productions, in Georgia.

Lost Planet: Colonies adds an 11 mission campaign, Score Attack and Time Trial Battle Mode, four new multiplayer maps, four new playable characters, 10 new weapons and no less than seven new game modes, such as Akrid Hunting and Akrid Egg.

Red Bull BC One takes players to the international breakdance tournament that challenges B-boys and B-girls alike. Players control their break dancer by solving puzzles under strict time limits. Puzzles consist of drawing geometrical shapes, which will get more complex as the game progresses.

Paradox Interactive's 4X strategy game Lost Empire: Immortals is set in space featuring six playable races, each with their own compelling storyline who battle for domination of a vast empire.

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World combines real-time combat, captivating storylines and remarkable graphics while introducing original elements that set a new standard for role-playing gameplay and interactive storytelling.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2: The Phantom Fortress introduces a new storyline based on the Naruto animated series, as well as a roster of more than 20 characters and frantic head-to-head multiplayer action with game-sharing capabilities. Pre-order now, register as a member of the game’s official online community, Hokage’s Room, and receive one of six Naruto figurines (4th series).

The all-time puzzle classic returns for the Wii generation, featuring online gameplay and a new Germ Buster mode! Destroy all the viruses trapped in the bottle by dropping and slotting capsules to create lines of matching colours. The more viruses you clear, the faster the capsules drop.

Harmonix and MTV Games announced the latest slate of downloadable tracks available for Rock Band is a special collection of singles featuring the nine tracks showcased in the Euro version of the game including some of Europe's heaviest hitters: UK's Blur, Muse and Oasis, German rockers Tokio Hotel, Die Toten Hosen, H-BlockX and Juli, and French natives Les Wampas and Pleymo.

The Chronicles of Spellborn is an MMORPG set in the Enclave of the Five Sacrifices. Developed by Dutch studio Spellborn, previously known for Alpha Black Zero, it uses the Unreal 2.5 Engine.

ET: QW pits the armies of Earth against the invading alien Strogg in this team-based online strategic shooter. Splash Damage is doing some last minute testing with id Software to track down a few issues that have turned up, but if all goes well the v1.5 patch should be released next week.

MadWorld is a third-person action game that has a unique black & white style depicting a sharp backdrop that straddles graphic novels and 3-D worlds, mixing irreverent humor and over-the-top violence.

We Love Golf! transforms the Wii Remote into a virtual set of golf clubs, creating the most immersive golfing experience available off the greens. This new title is developed in partnership with Camelot Software Planning, best known for developing successful sports games for home systems, including Hot Shots Golf and the Mario Golf series.

SCEA announced a line up of software titles set to launch over the remainder of 2008 and early 2009 exclusively for PS3, PS2, PSP and PlayStation Network. A mix of original concepts as well as franchise mainstays, the upcoming list of software includes more than 15 games across all PlayStation platforms.

EA's Casual Entertainment Label announces Hasbro Family Game Night, featuring six games including: Battleship, Yahtzee, Connect Four, Boggle, Sorry! and the all new, Sorry! Sliders.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed casts players as Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice" and promises to unveil new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. LucasArts PR rep Adam Khan revealed in a recent interview that the X360/PS3 versions of the game will have no multiplayer, "there isn't multiplayer and that's kind of how it is..." The Wii, PSP, and DS editions do have some sort of multiplayer capabilities.

Revealed yesterday, Infinite Line is a role playing game exclusively for the NDS that takes place in outer space and gives players the ability to control, build, outfit and customize more than 150 spaceships, offering over 200 characters and the ability to control multiple spaceships at any one time.

Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will bring Games Workshop's fantasy world to life in a way that will allow players to create characters destined for great deeds and glory on the field of battle. EA Australia announced that WHO will simultaneously launch with North America & Europe and get a dedicated regional server
