The Steam Early Holiday has begun, featuring a daily line-up of select games at deep discounts for just one day each. The Early Holiday Sale starts  today with seven great deals: Batman: Arkham Asylum, Fallen Earth, Far Cry 2 and Champions Online are 50% off, Dragon Age: Origins 25% off, while GRID is 75% cheaper. On Friday at 8am PST and each day through Monday there will be a new line-up of deals.

Its on-rails style gameplay and active camera will create a more immersive "Chronicles" survival experience. As in the last installment, this is a first-person game with extreme shooting gameplay and interactive pathways.

Needless to say, we got a late start today. There's nothing to do about it but to catch up, which is what I'll be doing most of the day, I guess.

Luckily, it should be rather quiet. Most people will be traveling today to get to their Thanksgiving destinations. We're heading out tomorrow morning bright and early, so there will be no interruption of coverage — not until I'm passed out from a turkey overdose, anyhow.
