Valve's trilogy of episodic single player gaming was meant to provide games on a smaller scale but more frequently, but with Ep.2 released over two years ago, rumor has it that Dr. Gordon Freeman is not going to race through a countryside riddled with an increasingly fierce Combine threat anytime soon. It was raining all day, and I'm talking torrential, cats & dogs rain. Absolute buckets of the stuff. Some serious thunder made the house rumble, and there was even some hail on top of that. Haven't had such a heavy storm in a long time. Luckily, it seemed to have eased up by now, but they are predicting more of the same over the next few days. Joy!
Apart from the outdoor shenanigans, it was a quiet day on the home front. Watched some Fringe, the newest Leverage, and then some Australian Open. We had been meaning to check out the British
Robin Hood series, and it's finally available on Netflix instant watch. So far, so good.
