Divine Divinity - Technology Test & Screens

by Rainier on April 23, 2002 @ 12:34 p.m. PDT

Things are starting to get exciting on the Divine Divinity front. In less than 12 days our huge demo is going to become available for download, and as a teaser the intro movie from Divine Divinity is now being released. Read more for links where to grab this puppy.

What is it ?

The Divine Divinity Technology Test is a stripped down version of the Divine Divinity engine that plays the intro movie.

Why not just release it as a movie then?

The purpose of the Divine Divinity technology test is to check if Divine Divinity is compatible with your system. We are currently fine-tuning Divine Divinity so that it’ll run a wide range of platforms, but it’s impossible to check against every single system. That’s why we released this test to find out what systems we still have problems with. If you try the Divine Divinity technology test and experience problems watching the intro movie, please let us know so that we can do something to fix it. If you don’t experience problems running other games, the test will probably run just fine, so don’t let the fact that this is a test dissuade you from downloading it.
