The Teen Titans take on their toughest challenge yet, as Majesco Entertainment Company and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced Teen Titans 2 for GBA.

“Majesco’s original Teen Titans game was a handheld success and reinforced that the Game Boy Advance audience is a perfect fit for the Teen Titans property,” said Ken Gold, vice president of Marketing. “Teen Titans 2 builds on the solid gameplay of the first title while offering fans of the series a brand new adventure with new villains, new team attacks and new environments.”

The Brotherhood is back and once again it’s up to the Teen Titans to stop them from taking over Titan city. Taking the Titans by surprise, the Brain abducts the five teen super heroes and holds them prisoner. Robin manages to escape and find his fellow Titans. Once free, the team sets out to take on the Brotherhood. Play as Robin, Cyborg, Raven, Beast Boy and Starfire in this action-packed sequel to the popular Game Boy Advance game.

Other features found in Teen Titans 2 include:

  • Navigate five different environments inspired by DC Comics’ Teen Titans world from the Warner Bros. Animation television series. Search the city and help rescue the Titans, then choose your mission and available Titan to conquer each hero’s greatest challenge;
  • Each Titan has his/her own unique moves, abilities and weapons;
  • Battle notorious Teen Titans villains, including Monsieur Mallah, General Immortus and the Brain, the mastermind of the Brotherhood of Evil;
  • Team up with other Teen Titans and unleash killer team attacks;
  • Multiple pathways through each level offer options to navigate the environment. Some paths will be easier to take with a specific Titan while others will provide an extra challenge;
  • Upgrade the Teen Titans with more life, more energy, more weaponry and more Teen Titan Power;
  • Replay previously played levels to unlock hidden areas and upgrades using different Teen Titans.

Developed by Artificial Mind & Movement, Teen Titans 2 is expected to ship this fall for a suggested retail price of $29.99.
