'The Crew' (ALL) Also Coming To X360, Closed Beta To PS4/XOne - Screens & Trailer

by Rainier on Aug. 13, 2014 @ 9:06 a.m. PDT

The Crew takes you and your friends on a reckless ride inside an open-world re-creation of the U.S. With a lot of content and tailored for the connected generation, The Crew redefines action-driving.

Participate in a ride to infiltrate and overtake the 510s, a gang involving Detroit's illegal street racers. Your plan is to race underground to build a reputation and then sabotage their activities across the U.S. Maneuver through New York City and Los Angeles, cruise down Miami Beach or trek through the plateaus of Monument Valley. Each location has a set of surprises and driving challenges. On your journey, encounter other players on the road, who can be worthy companions or future rivals.

“It’s Ubisoft’s objective to continue to meet the needs of consumers who have not yet made the move to the new console generation,” said Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Ubisoft. “The Crew was originally built for the new generation of consoles, but we have always had a desire to make it accessible to as many people as possible. We’re excited to bring The Crew’s same core features, massive scope, mission variety and overall driving experience to Xbox 360 players.”

A limited number of players will be invited to participate in the closed beta on Xbox One and PS4 starting in late September. More details on this closed beta period will be communicated at a later date.
