'The Memory of Eldurim' - Screens & Trailer

The Memory of Eldurim is a 3rd person action RPG game emphasizes fun melee combat, a deep and interesting magic system and a living world with lots of NPCs, factions, and quests.

The Memory of Eldurim offers a distinctly unique leveling system where rather than picking a class, grinding through various levels, and allocating points towards different attributes, each ability or proficiency must be earned through the player’s actions. Each character begins as a ‘blank slate’ and gains endurance with each step run, gains defensive marks with each blow parried or gains magical potency with each spell cast. Each friend made draws players closer to one faction while isolating others. The game is played in a living world where players become summations of every action and every decision made.

The game will reward you for your attention to which weapons and spells are strong and effective against which armor and composition types. Certain enemies will be easy with the right load-out but nearly impossible when approached unwisely.

“Our game serves Crytek as a demonstration of how their powerful engine can be used by anyone to make a beautiful game. We look forward to meeting with anyone who has questions or comments about our game. It is very exciting for us and we love being a part of the gaming world. We think it is fun for gamers to be a part of the creation process and be there with us as we develop something together.” said Liminal Games founder, Bryan Excell..

Though it is not yet finished, Liminal Games has released their game, The Memory of Eldurim, on Steam Early Access ($19.99).

The team continues to work on the project daily, expanding current combat and magic systems while adding in new systems, such as crafting. Future plans include sharing their intricate story development and implementing a multiplayer feature where players can join each other’s worlds and adventure together.
