Where the Water Tastes Like Wine is an adventure game, inspired by the folk tales and folk music of America, about traveling, sharing stories, and surviving manifest destiny.

Where the Water Tastes Like Wine is a wistfully imaginative game about traveling the land, sharing stories and surviving manifest destiny. Players wander through the United States - and through a century of history - encountering and exploring an eclectic variety of people, perspectives and personal tales along the way. This surreal journey into the heart of the country’s past features gorgeous illustration from Kellan Jett and Serenity Forge, blending dramatic 2D visuals with a 3D overworld map of the United States.

Good Shepherd Entertainment recently revealed the list of voice actors bringing life to Where the Water Tastes Like Wine’s many compelling stories, including renowned singer-songwriter, musician and actor Sting, Dave Fennoy (The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series), Cissy Jones (Firewatch), Kimberly Brooks (Mass Effect) and more.

Game Features:

  • A variety of folk tales and personal stories to encounter, told by characters from all over America
  • Beautiful combination of 3D overworld and 2D illustration in its own unique style
  • Stories by a wide selection of excellent writers
  • An emerging fantastical, psychedelic, surreal, and creepy tinge as the game continues

Where the Water Tastes Like Wine will launch on Feb. 28, 2018, on Windows PC, Mac and Linux via Steam.

The newly announced “Wayfarer” edition, which includes a digital copy of the game's hauntingly beautiful OST, composed by Ryan Ike, and a digital art book for download, will also be available for $26.99.
