Sony Interactive Entertainment, Insomniac Games, and Marvel have teamed up to create a new and authentic Spider-Man adventure.

The high stakes in Marvel’s New York escalate, as Mayor Norman Osborn is willing to take no risks during his re-election bid. He hires Silver Sable and her security force, Silver Sable International, to restore order to the city - which includes stopping someone he believes is contributing to the mayhem: Spider-Man. This is an experienced Peter Parker who's more masterful at fighting big crime in New York City. At the same time, he's struggling to balance his chaotic personal life and career while the fate of millions of New Yorkers rests upon his shoulders.

While we’re busy working away here at Insomniac Games, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to once again team up with Sony Interactive Entertainment, Marvel, and Sony Pictures Entertainment to celebrate the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home in theatres now! As such, we have released a new update for the game via Patch 1.16 that will bring two free brand-new suits from Spider-Man: Far From Home to the game.

After you have built the Advanced Suit early in Marvel’s Spider-Man, you are able to switch between suits during the story — so if you have already reached this stage in-game, you can use the Spider-Man: Far from Home Upgraded Suit, or the Spider-Man: Far From Home Stealth Suit right now. Before you rush off to download the update — here’s a couple of new images showing those brand-new suits in game.

Key Features:

  • Be Spider-Man: An experienced Spider-Man with several years of crime fighting under his belt, Peter Parker has sheer mastery of his powerful spider-sense, dynamic skills, acrobatic abilities, and new suit.
  • Original Story: An all-new Spider-Man universe featuring familiar characters in unfamiliar roles. Peter Parker deals with his complex dual life as a young adult with great powers, discovering how his many relationships evolve.
  • Blockbuster Action in an Open World: Swing freely through Marvel's New York City as Spider-Man via cinematic set-pieces filled with a rich narrative and relatable characters.

You can get even more additional suits for Marvel’s Spider-Man by purchasing the Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps expansion series. The series tells a post-game story over three DLC chapters, and each one includes three new suits to unlock that you can use in the rest of the game and in New Game+. The series begins with Black Cat returning to Marvel’s New York, but players quickly realize she’s a part of something much bigger that will entangle Spider-Man with the notorious Hammerhead. You can download Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps from PlayStation Store today for $24.99 USD.

Marvel's Spider-Man is currently available on PS4 for $59.99.
