'Underhero' (ALL) Physical Editions Coming to Switch And PS4 In 2021

Underhero is a colorful 2D RPG-platformer featuring a unique timing-based combat in a magical madcap adventure with a twist.

Underhero tells an intriguing and mysterious story, full of silly characters brimming with personality, quirky dialogue, and lots of weird humor.

Inspired by Paper Mario (among many other RPGs), Underhero offers its own oddball spin on RPG adventures with a special timing-based combat system, old-school platforming fun, a quirky cast of characters, and a lighthearted story about an unlikely hero on an unforgettable journey to save a kingdom.

Underhero it tells the story of a world where the chosen hero has failed and an underling of the main villain takes his place as the new “hero”. Aided by a magical companion, the accidental adventurer must purge all evil from the Chestnut Kingdom. 

Join Elizabeth IV and a little Masked kid in a journey across the Chestnut Kingdom to once again, defeat the evil Mr. Stitches! Meet friends, foes and other weird characters in the mysterious world of Underhero.

First Press Games announced their newest cooperation with Digerati and Paper Castle Games on a special fan-favorite among indie-fans, Underhero will finally receive a release of physical format for both PS4 and Nintendo Switch in March 2021.

Both console versions will be available as a Regular and Collector's Edition through First Press Games' online store.

The Regular Edition comes with everything you would expect from a well-made physical game release, from interior cover art, to an in-depth manual and even a sleek slipcover.

The Collector's Edition comes in a large premium box and does not only hold the amazing Soundtrack of the game as a 2CD release, but also the Official Artbook of the game, which will hold some additional bonus content compared to the digital counter-part.

Regular Editions are available on open preorder, with the manufacturing amount being set after one month, while the Collector Editions will have a set amount straight from the start:

PS4

  • Regular Edition - 34.99€, open preorder
  • Collector's Edition - 69.99€, limited to 250 pieces

Nintendo Switch

  • Regular Edition - 39.99€, open preorder
  • Collector's Edition - 74.99€ limited to 1000 pieces

The pre-orders will open from this Thursday, the 22nd of October at 3 PM CEST / 9 AM EDT.

Bonus for early supporters: If you order any Edition of the game beetween the 22nd of October and the 22nd of November you will get a numbered Bronze-colored Collector's Coin for free with your game, limited to one per customer.

The limitation of the Collector's Editions is set from the beginning, while the quantity of Regular Editions will be set after the early preorder-period above passed.
