'LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga' Galactic Edition Reveals New Packs And Characters - Screens & Trailer

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the biggest LEGO Star Wars game, featuring all nine Skywalker saga films, including the conclusion to the series, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will immerse players into the expansive saga with the freedom to control hundreds of characters and vehicles to create their own unique journey through the galaxy.

Friends and family can dive right into their favorite saga film and play through memorable Star Wars moments, reimagined with LEGO fun and humor. Players can start at the beginning with Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, begin the original trilogy with Star Wars: A New Hope, or launch right into Star Wars: The Last Jedi or Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, both of which are making their LEGO Star Wars game debut. From the idyllic grassy hills of Naboo to the desert dunes of Jakku, the desert of Geonosis to the swamps of Dagobah, to the snowfields of Starkiller Base – players will have the power to revisit any planet, at any time, in any order they wish. The entire galaxy is available to discover and play in.

Players can traverse space using the galaxy map on their holoprojector to chart their course through the saga, progressively unlocking planets to explore along the way. During space travel, players may engage in heroic dog fights against enemy ships, piloting legendary vehicles like the Millennium Falcon, Imperial TIE fighters, Rebel X-wings, and many more. Once reaching their destination, players can choose to either continue onwards through the main story or explore and discover exciting quests and puzzles within the galaxy.

Exploration rewards players as they uncover Kyber Bricks which unlock new features and upgraded abilities across a range of character classes, including Jedi, Hero, Dark Side, Villain, Scavenger, Scoundrel, Bounty Hunter, Astromech Droid, and Protocol Droid. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga features the biggest roster of playable characters in the LEGO Star Wars series including the greatest legends from every era of the Skywalker saga sauch as Leia, Yoda, Boba Fett, Darth Maul, Poe and over three hundred more unlockable characters from across all nine films in free play mode to create fun, new adventures.


Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, The LEGO Group and Lucasfilm Games unveiled 13 playable character packs for the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition, highlights six new character packs which add 30 more playable characters in the above trailer

Starting Nov. 1, the Star Wars: The Clone Wars character pack will add Captain Rex, Darth Maul, Asajj Ventress, Savage Opress, and Gar Saxon. The LEGO Star Wars: Summer Vacation character pack will hilariously add seasonal versions of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader and Finn in Hawaiian shirts, Emperor Palpatine in beachwear, and R2-D2 in a holiday sweater.

Starting Nov. 15, the Star Wars: Rebels character pack will add Sabine Wren, Ezra Bridger, Admiral Thrawn, Kanan Jarrus, and Hera Syndulla, The Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi character pack will add Ben Kenobi, Darth Vader, Reva (Third Sister), Grand Inquisitor, and Fifth Brother. 

Starting Nov. 29, the Star Wars: Andor character pack will add Andor, Luthen Rael, Syril Karn, Supervisor Dedra Meero, and Bix Caleen.  The Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett character pack will add Krrsantan, Cad Bane, Cobb Vanth, Peli Motto, and The Armorer. 

The six new character packs come as part of the Character Collection 2, which is included in the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition, Character Collection 1 & 2 bundle, or separately via standalone purchase. A Character Collection 1 & 2 bundle will be available for $24.99 or can be purchased separately for $14.99 each. Individual character packs will also be available à la carte for $2.99.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition also includes the seven packs from the original Character Collection, The Mandalorian Season 1, Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Classic Characters, The Trooper Pack, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, The Mandalorian Season 2, and The Bad Batch. Players that purchase the game digitally can also unlock the Classic Obi-Wan Kenobi playable character that is not available for purchase à la carte. 

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition will be available digitally for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch for $79.99 (SRP), physically for $59.99 in EMEA, and for PC at $69.99 (SRP) on Nov. 1, 2022.
