Gravity Game Arise announced that Alterium Shift will be released on Steam Early Access on July 6, 2023.

“Thousands of players have played the demo and fallen for the nostalgic feel of the story, graphics, and gameplay. The early access is sure to surprise and satisfy existing fans and utterly enchant new fans”, states Gravity Indie Games chief Michael Prefontaine.

“The current Early Access version is about 50% complete and offers a stable, enjoyable experience thanks to rigorous testing and refinement. While we anticipate some adjustments to the game's story and dialogue to improve flow and player interactions, these will not be game-breaking changes. Our objective is to maintain stability as we add and refine content, with a similar approach to the one we're employing for this initial launch.”

“The full version of Alterium Shift will boast a number of enhancements over the Early Access release. These include configurable user controls, walkable world maps, a bestiary, additional screen settings (such as CRT effects), battle enhancements, and additional user-friendly features and gameplay improvements. During the Early Access period, we also plan to deliver regular updates on game content, with the goal of making approximately 75% of the total game content available.”

Alterium Shift will also be featured in this summer’s Steam Next Fest from June 19th through June 26th, which showcases some of the most exciting up and coming games coming from Steam.

In celebration of the early access release, the game will be on sale for20% off from July 6th~13th PDT.

Each character will have an on-map ability that allows them to explore areas the others can't. For instance, Pyra can slice through rocks and Atlas and shoot far off targets. Find hidden treasure or even experience story based elements!

Alterium Shift has a full featured turn-based combat system with a turn-order display for important decision making! Exploit enemy weaknesses and gain experience to grow your party into an unstoppable force! Charge up your Burst Bar for powerful burst abilities! Of course, the loot you earn will also help you a long your journey as well.

Explore the world of Alteria. Meet new and diverse people. Find loot and hidden treasure! Take on new quests. Go fishing! The world is at your fingertips!
