NVIDIA Adds DLSS 3 Support To Pax Dei, Still Wakes the Deep, The Finals And More

by Rainier on June 18, 2024 @ 6:00 a.m. PDT

From gaming across a blank canvas to exploring majestic, viking islands, this week’s DLSS announcement is all about using the power of RTX technologies like NVIDIA DLSS 3, NVIDIA Reflex and advanced ray-traced effects to make your adventures more real than ever.

Start with social sandbox MMO Pax Dei, which is already available in Early Access on Steam. In the game, you can define your own legend while immersing yourself in a world full of real myths and magic. While you do, DLSS 3 and NVIDIA Reflex will make sure you can meet your challenges at the highest level of performance possible. In Pax Dei, DLSS 3 uses AI to multiply frame rates by an average of 3X at 4K.

But if that’s a little too open ended, why not journey to an oil rig in the middle of a vicious storm off the coast of Scotland by playing Still Wakes The Deep. With no way to communicate with the outside world and all exits cut off, you’ll have no choice but to face the horror that has snuck aboard in this return to the first-person, narrative, horror game. Plus, DLSS 3 with Frame Generation and DLAA will make every scream feel more real while Reflex gives you the best chance to escape when things go sideways. At 4K, with every setting maxed, DLSS 3 delivers a 2.6X average uplift. And to top it off, the game is available to play today.

If you want to survive with a little less stress in your life, you can always sail the Isle of Skye in Aurora Game Studios’ Skye: The Misty Isle. Brave the elements, fight off predators and discover the hidden fate of this land in the adventure of a lifetime. When Early Access drops on June 19, you can also use DLSS 3 with Frame Generation to boost frames by an average of 2.4X and reduce latency with Reflex.

And that’s not even everything! Deep Rock Galactic Season 5 is adding DLSS 3 to the mix and THE FINALS Season 3 is doing the same — plus Reflex and Ray Tracing.

Of course, we’re also just getting started with the #GeForceSummer of RTX, so don’t forget to try and win everything from GPUs to full blown PCs! You can see the full Terms and Conditions for the #GeForceSummer of RTX sweepstakes here, and contests here.

That said, there are even more DLSS integrations arriving soon for a whole host of games. Return regularly for a rundown of the next DLSS and RTX titles, and head here to see the full list of over 500 RTX-enhanced games and apps.
