NIS America has also revealed a content roadmap for Village in the Shade. At launch, Village in the Shade will receive two free patch updates including new furniture, livestock and catalog features as well as farmland expansion, the addition of a new birthday event for the protagonist and more. Additional scenarios, new gameplay systems, standalone events, and fresh maps are slated for release as part of the Spring 2027 DLC.
