Originally panned for July 31, 2026, developer/publisher Italian Games Factory announced that Hell Galaxy will now launch on Steam on August 12, 2026, giving the team additional time for final balancing, polish and optimisation ahead of the game's Version 1.0 release.

The decision reflects the team's commitment to delivering the best possible experience for players from day one, ensuring Hell Galaxy launches in the strongest shape possible with every system, encounter and mechanic receiving the attention it deserves before release. The extra development time will allow the team to further refine gameplay balance, apply the final layer of polish and ensure players receive the best possible Version 1.0 experience when Hell Galaxy launches next month.

Currently available through Steam Early Access, Hell Galaxy is scheduled to launch in v1.0 on August 12, 2026.
