While GT 5 Prologue has been available for a while now, sporting improved AI and multiplayer, gamers are surely looking forward to the full Gran Turismo 5 release in Q4 2009 according to a brochure handed out at GamesCom 09. Details are limited, but Polyphony Digital revealed that GT5 will more than double Forza 3's number of cars, promising 1000 vehicles, 20 tracks in 60 different layouts, custom soundtrack support, and while there is a damage model, it will be limited to certain car manufacturers.

Former Majesco Santa Monica
artist Valerie Schoman revealed that Majesco has decided to shut down the Los Angeles, California-based studio. A few years back, Majesco found itself in a spat of financial trouble, but after some rigorous cutbacks and restructuring has been on the path to recovery, so it comes as a surprise to hear about the closure.
