Capcom is working on bringing the original Gamecube (based on the 1996 PSOne game) title in the Resident Evil series to the Wii. Currently only scheduled for a December release in Japan, the port will add no new content or features, apart from making it compatible with the Wiimote controls.

Earlier this year an article in Japanese magazine Famitsu claimed Capcom was working on Dead Rising 2, a sequel to 2006's popular zombie shooter. Capcom has yet to official confirm the development but it seems credence has been given to the rumor as Canadian developer Blue Castle Games revealed that it has been hired by the publisher to work on Dead Rising 2. Blue Castle Games is known for 2K Sports' The Bigs, and is currently also working on MLB Front Office Manager.

Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content starting with Qore issue #6, DLCs for LittleBigPlanet (2 free costumes), EndWar Enlistment Pack (3 free units), and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja STORM (free new character and mission). Guitar Hero gets a Oasis Track Pack ($1.99/5.49), while Rock Band gets a President of the Unites States trackpack ($1.99/5.49), and singles from Hinder and Fallout Boy ($.99). Demos are available for Metal Gear Solid 4 and NCAA Basketball 09, and last but not least the usual game/movie trailers and PS3 themes.
