ArmA 2 is set in the near future, year 2009, in a fictional post soviet country called Chernarus. Players will be sent as members of a US Marine Corps Force Recon squad to this country to prevent further civilian casualties and ensure ongoing stability there. Without giving specific, Bohemia Interactive announced ArmA II is coming to next gen console(s).

Atlantica Online is bringing back turn-based and strategic gameplay to give a fresh face to the MMO world, a thinking person's game, giving you the chance to really strategize using the combat, mercenary and city/country management system.

High Energy Productions' producer Keisuke Kikuchi announced Rygar: The Battle of Argus will be an all-new Wii exclusive title, not a PS2 port. Expected later this year in Japan, Rygar: The Battle of Argus will introduce a new hero and use the Wiimote to control Rygar's trademark weapon, the Diskarmor.

While the X360 version of AQ Interactive's Blue Dragon is an RPG in which young adventurers battle evil with their blue shadow monsters, the NDS edition is a real time strategy title, similar to Revenant Wings, featuring the same five characters.

Legend: Hand of God is an action RPG set in a fantasy world where you guide your hero in his quest against evil, fighting your way through action filled battles. This v1.03 beta patch contains new PhysX drivers and requires v1.02 installed.

Bionic Commando features Nathan Spencer (voiced by Faith No More's Mike Patton), a government operative who represents the ultimate fusion of man and machine. After distinguishing himself in a fierce conflict against the Imperials, Spencer is betrayed and falsely imprisoned by the very people he unquestioningly served.

Guitar Hero: World Tour will feature guitar, vocals, drums, the ability to create your own songs (and upload them on GHTunes), four-player on/offline co-op, and an eight-player battle of the bands multiplayer mode (4vs4). The Smashing Pumpkins' new single G.L.O.W. will debut on World Tour, together with classic tracks 1979 and The Everlasting Gaze. In addition, singer, songwriter and lead guitarist Billy Corgan as an in-game character and will bring with him 1993's hit Today.

Atari has signed Dragon Ball: Origins, developed by Namco Bandai Games, which takes players back to the original Dragon Ball series and around the world for a thrilling action-adventure game with innovative touch pad controls.

Resistance 2 will feature 8-player, story-driven online co-op separate from the regular single-player campaign, 60-player online PvP (Heavy, Special Ops, Medic classes) and more vehicles, including The Chameleon, a Stalker with full cloak. Sony announced that a worldwide competitive online multiplayer and co-operative beta will begin in early October.

Crystal Dynamics has made Tomb Raider Underworld more realistic with fluid movements due to motion capturing. Set a few years after the last game, it also features persistent destruction and lush locales across the globe. Lara gets muddy in the game, but with the weather system, rain will wash it away.

Mirror's Edge is a first-person action adventure game where you are Faith, a 'runner' framed for murder in a world where communication channels are highly monitored and the movement of human traffic is closely watched. While an earlier rumor by German Heise Online that the game would be a PS3 timed exclusive was quickly debunked, Sony confirmed that PS3 owners will be able to download exclusive content through the PlayStation Network, although details nor a release date were revealed.
