Matrix Games has released a new patch for its naval warfare sim Harpoon 3: Advanced Naval Warfare, adding a streamlined game interface, tweaked and improved gameplay, and reinforcing Harpoon 3’s level of realism. Various outlets picked up the rumor (based on this German interview) that Gas Powered Games was working on Dungeon Siege 3 and that it would no longer have multi-character parties. C&VG asked for verification and apparently the comment was taken out of context, as the question asked (whether GPG had learned lessons from previous installments) was hypothetical, that IF a Dungeon Siege 3 was to be made, GPG would shy away from the multi-character parties and instead focus on a single hero.
