Matrix Games and Strategic Studies Group announced their partnership to release Battlefront, an all-new wargame system that simulates battalion-scale combat in the largest cauldron of war humanity has known: World War II.

Set in the most turbulent and bloody era in European history, Medieval 2: Total War will allow gamers to lead their armies across the battlefields of Europe and the Holy Land before discovering the Americas and doing battle with the fearsome Aztecs.

Set in the deceptively idyllic town of Bright Falls, Washington, Alan Wake places gamers in the role of the best-selling suspense author, Alan Wake. He escapes to this small town to recover from the mysterious disappearance of his fiancée. In Bright Falls Wake comes face to face with his darkest nightmares.

Grotesque is a new adventure/rpg from German developer Silent Dreams, and promises to be an original blend of traditional fantasy RPG (like Gothic, Fable, Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment) and sarcastic humor with adventure elements along the lines of Monkey Island.

Iluminate Games is proud to present Mitigo 9, a side scroller space shooter, where the player takes control of a deadly python fighter, the last of the Mitigo Special Forces - a peacekeeper unit mysteriously ambushed and destroyed.

Bandai's Zegapain XOR is a sci-fi mech action game where you play as Toga Victor, an ace pilot brought back from the dead to fight against Gars-orm, who's hell-bent on wiping out mankind. Toga has a powerful mech, Zegapain, at his disposal which can be modified with an array of weapons, such as lightsabres and rifles, and various other parts.

Already rumored a few months back, Assassin's Creed will not be a PS3 exclusive and also come to the Xbox 360 and PC. According to French website Xbox Gamer Ubisoft confirmed the multiplatform release at the Interactive Digital Entertainment Festival 2006 held in Cannes. No details were given whether Assassin's Creed will have a simultanious launch on all platforms or be a time exclusive.
