By pre-ordering you will be able to start playing Prey within minutes of the release at 12:01 a.m. on 7/11/2006. Today, Portugal were crowned the Xbox Cup Champions having won EA’s 2006 FIFA World Cup X360 tournament. At the centre of the Platz der Republik, Berlin, where 8500 people attended the ceremony, Microsoft's Peter Moore presented the trophy and was first to offer his congratulations to the triumphant team.

SEGA of America Reveales PS3/Wii Launch Titles

SEGA of America's VP of marketing Scott Steinberg has revealed what they have planned for the PS3, and Wii console launches. In an interview with GameDaily, Steinberg revealed Sonic the Hedgehog and Full Auto 2: Battlelines will be PS3 launch titles, while Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz is going to be available when the Wii makes its retail debut. In case that wasn't enough, Steinberg also mentioned Full Auto 2 might come to the X360 after the exclusivity expires, while Sonic Wild Fire and Virtua Fighter 5 are currently scheduled for March 2007.

Nintendo Wii Coming November 6 ?

While these sort of rumors remain to be taken with a grain of salt until an official statement is made by Nintendo, it seems more and more reports show up indicating an early November launch date for the Wii. The latest issue of Sports Illustrated for Kids magazine features an article on the upcoming PS3 and Wii consoles and at the end of the Wii section it flat out lists "Launch Date: November 6." Several known launch titles are listed in EBGames and GameStop computers are November 5th, so while nothing is official just yet, things are starting to look exciting ...

Publisher Metro 3D and developer Data Design Interactive have secured the license to create a driving game based on the Official iconic FX4 London Black Cab. London Taxi Rush Hour will be set in London England, complete with landmarks such as Trafalgar square, Big Ben and Hyde Park.

Atari opens the online polls this weekend for its "Want To Be A Car Designer?" contest. The contest invited all novice designers to create an image of their dream concept car. The winner will receive a financial reward of $2,500, and have their design driving alongside cars such as the Lamborghini, Ferrari and Aston Martin as a fully functioning 3D vehicle within Test Drive Unlimited.
