SEGA of America today announced the availability of SEGA Classics Collection on the PS2. The SEGA Classics Collection is a value-priced compilation of nine remixed arcade hits. Included in the compilation are OutRun, Space Harrier, Golden Axe, Virtua Racing, Columns, Fantasy Zone, Alien Syndrome, Monaco GP, and Bonanza Bros. All of the games have been given fresh audio tracks and graphical enhancements. SEGA Classics Collection is rated ‘T' for ‘Teen' and is available at retailers nationwide for an MSRP of $19.95.

Sengoku Basara takes you to the Sengoku War period in Japan where you must guide your warlord through armies of foot soldiers, with a gameplay style reminiscent of other hack-and-slash titles like Dynasty Warriors and Kingdom Under fire. Produced by Resident Evil 4's Hiroyuki Kobayashi, and with Devil May Cry's Makoto Tsuchibayashi in charge of character design Sengoku Basara is already well on its way to be an interesting title in the very least.

Featuring Hollywood-level production values and a gripping, narrative story line, DRIV3R casts players once again as Tanner, a jaw breaking, no-holds-barred undercover cop who does whatever it takes to bring the bad guys down (thanks 3DGamers). You would figure with this much time between the console and PC version most of the bugs would be gone, but apparently not. No specific details as to what it fixes, but here it is .. Turbine announced today that it has finalized a deal with Tolkien Enterprises and Vivendi that grants Turbine the exclusive right to develop and publish massively multiplayer online worlds based on The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit literary works. As part of the agreement, Turbine will own all of the game assets to the upcoming, highly anticipated massively multiplayer online role playing game The Lord of the Rings: Middle-Earth Online, which is now scheduled for 2006.
