Sony Online today announced PlanetSide: Aftershock, featuring PlanetSide, the original game that defined the massively-multiplayer online action genre, PlanetSide: Core Combat expansion pack, and the recently announced BattleFrame Robotics (BFRs) action pack. PlanetSide: Aftershock is expected to ship to North American retail stores on October 18, 2004.

Activision has released an updated version of the dedicated linux server binaries for for Grey Matter's WW2 based FPS 'Call of Duty: United Offensive'. These binaries, in combination with the v1.4 linux server, a copy of CoD and the United Offensive pack, will allow you to run a dedicated game server. Artifact Entertainment, developers of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game “Horizons”, announced today that it has reached an agreement, subject to court approval, with Tulga Games, in which Tulga Games has agreed to purchase the assets of Artifact Entertainment.
