Simon & Schuster let us know a few days ago that the game went gold and that we can expect it in stores within the next week, today Blue's News and 3D Gamers offer the playable demo of Farscape the Game, giving you the opportunity to try out this imminent 3D top-down action game by Red Lemon Studios that's based on the popular sci-fi TV series. The demo clocks in at a modest 63.6 MB and contains an intro movie, a training level, and a part of the full game where you get to control team members John Crichton and Chianna (thanks Blues).

Irrational Games has released a patch for their superheroe RPG, Freedom Force. Download the Freedom Force patch and enjoy new features, fixes and upgrades. v1.1 features skirmish play, allowing players to test their hero recipes in customized scenarios. Voodooextreme got some new screenshots posted for this upcoming MMORPG, Neocron (our recent posted screens is available here). The open beta test will begin early August, and the game is due out Q4 of this year. At the same time they posted 3 screens from the upcoming 3D strategy game, Soldiers of Anarchy and some screens from Big Huge Games upcoming historical based real-time strategy game, Rise of Nations.
