Namco announced today that Codo Technologies' GBA exclusive Rebelstar: Tactical Command has gone gold. Rebelstar: Tactical Command is a turn based strategy game that puts the player at the epicenter of a human revolt against alien oppressors.

Alien Hominid on GBA retains all the super-fast action and irreverent humour of the larger console versions but in a format that you'll really have trouble putting down. Prepare to freak-out all over again with this lovingly crafted slice of pure gaming joy.

According to TotalVideoGames, a Walmart employee leaked what is believed to be the official price for Microsoft's next gen console. The Xbox 360 will be sold for $299 and will be available in North America starting November 4th, the UK will see it on shelves later in the month. Games will carry an average pricetag of $59.99, the first few titles will include Perfect Dark Zero and Project Gotham Racing 3.

Grotesque is a new adventure/rpg from German developer Silent Dreams, and promises to be an original blend of traditional fantasy RPG (like Gothic, Fable, Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment) and sarcastic humor with adventure elements along the lines of Monkey Island. Currently looking for a publisher, Grotesque is scheduled for Q3 2006 (thanks RPGDot).

Shenmue Online developer JC entertainment announced that it has halted any further development on Sega's Shenmue Online. Without giving any details as to why, the Korean developer said it has not worked on the game since May earlier this year. Whether the project is scrubbed altogether or just temporarly on hiatus is not clear, so let hope SEGA sheds some light on the matter soon. Shenmue Online is a MMO Action/RPG based on the Dreamcast Shenmue franchise, and was scheduled to launch this year.
