'Devastation' - Dedicated Linux Available NOW

Icculus has released a dedicated Linux server for the retail edition of Devastation, the new first-person shooter by Digitalo Studios. The server is compatible with clients updated to the latest (version 380) patch, and word is that running a devastation server is very much like running a UT2003 server, so most of the stuff at UnrealAdmin.org is relevant (thanks 3DGamers). 'Nitro Family' - Website Launched

Delphieye has launched the official website for their alternate reality first-person shooter powered by Croteam's Serious Engine. “Nitro Family” mainly focuses on images of the deepest desires of man like violence, sensuality and beauty, with a pure enjoyment of game.The website has a batch of previously released screenshots, a previously released movie, a list of features and the game's back-story. 'Rainbow Six 3: Athena Sword' Possible Add-on?

IGN's rumor mill is running again as their UbiSoft E3 lineup seems to have an addition that is missing from everybody else's list (or the official list sent out by UbiSoft for that matter). IGN's Ubi Soft E3 list includes the following on what seems to be a new add-on for the tactical shooter: "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 Athena Sword: Looks like the PC is getting a new expansion for the latest in the series. Fun all around!". After Worthplaying contacted UbiSoft, they said "We don't have anything additional to announce about R63 PC at this point", which doesn't mean its not true though.

Wanadoo and Nevrax send out word that registrations for the Ryzom beta test are now possible. The Beta Test will be composed of 3 stages, and the number of selected testers will increase steadily during each of these stages. Some of you may have to wait a little before being selected, so be patient. For those of you who have applied on Nevrax's website, it is still necessary to register on the European Ryzom website. If your application is accepted (which may happen at several moments during the course of the beta), you will receive an email with a login, a password and all the information necessary to connect to the game".

'Splinter Cell' - v1.2 Update Patch Available NOW

UbiSoft has now released an updated US patch for their stealth third-person action game Splinter Cell, bringing your US ONLY edition to v1.2. This release implements essentially the same as the original v1.2 with the addition of a small diagnostic tool that was left out of the first one, as well as a variety of graphics enhancements and fixes, as well as gameplay tweaks and other bug fixes (thanks 3DGamers). Atari and Shiny Entertainment are pleased to announce that development is complete on "Enter The Matrix" for the PS2, the Xbox, the Nintendo GameCube and the PC. The worldwide launch of the game to retail outlets will occur on schedule on May 15, 2003, day and date with the theatrical release of the highly anticipated Warner Brothers action movie "The Matrix Reloaded."
