Drakan: The Ancients’ Gates is an original game for the PlayStation®2. Though the gameplay of the project is in part based on that found in the popular PC title Drakan: Order of the Flame, the content of the adventures Rynn and Arokh experience are completely new and original. If anything, Drakan: The Ancients’ Gates should be considered a sequel to Drakan: OOTF. However, Drakan:The Ancients’ Gates introduces so many new game mechanics that it is far more than a conventional sequel.

Electronic Arts Inc the world’s leading interactive entertainment publisher and the exclusive worldwide license holder for official FIFA branded interactive soccer games; today announced it will publish two EA SPORTS 2002 FIFA World Cup titles. EA has commissioned Digital Bridges the global mobile entertainment services leader to develop and distribute these titles. The titles will be available to Orange Group customers throughout Europe with the UK, France, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Switzerland launching elements of the FIFA games this summer.

Lucasarts has just announced that they’ve sign an agreement with The Collective for the publishing rights to Wrath. Wrath, one of the most sought after games in the industry, is an arcade-style game that utilizes turn-based gameplay with both action and strategy. Expected in 2003 on all next-gen platforms.

BonusWeb just informed us that the English demo of Beam Breakers is now available for download. The demo is available in 2 versions : with DirectX (137.7 MB) and without DirectX (113.1 MB). The English version has 3 missions, a training map and 2 multiplayer maps. You can choose between 4 different cars (unlike the german demo which only had 2).
