The story is set in the mine valley of Khorinis. The glorious days of the once productive mines in this small seaside region are long over. Instead, the mines are now akin to a natural prison that is surrounded by an impenetrable magic barrier where slaves eked out their miserable existence.Khorinis is facing an uncertain future. Due to the farmers' decreasing production, more and more of the food deliveries are not taking place, and the stocks diminish continuously. The militia's strength ends at the town gate. Outside the town wall, nobody is safe from the bandits' armed raids. There is war in Khorinis. A civil war.

Codemasters confirmed today that its highly anticipated racing title Colin McRae Rally 3 will ship in February 2003 for the PlayStation2, while the Xbox version will ship on December 10, 2002. Codemasters has decided to delay the game in order to optimize the graphics and gameplay for the platform, ensuring that consumers receive the highest quality product.

Bethesda Softworks announced today that The Elder Scrolls III: Tribunal - the expansion pack for its critically acclaimed RPG, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind for PC - has gone to gold master and will begin arriving in stores throughout North America late next week. Tribunal introduces additional content and features into the already staggering game world of Morrowind, and can be experienced by any player at any point. During the E3'2002 in May Primal Soft announced a new game was coming and they have worked on it non-stop for almost a year now. The time has come to reveal it to the world - it's coming to completion rapidly and they'd like to wet your appetite a bit first. The game is called Besieger and it's a realtime 3D strategy. As you can guess even by its name, it offers a few interesting gameplay enhancements (such as towns that are actually fun to besiege and defend, innovative economics and involved storyline).
