Blizzard Entertainment announced today that "Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne," the eagerly-awaited expansion set to the fastest-selling PC game ever, is now in stores. Available in 11 different languages worldwide, the game has received initial orders totaling more than 2.5 million copies.

Activision Inc. filed a breach of contract suit alleging media giant Viacom Inc. isn't adequately exploiting the Star Trek franchise, thereby diminishing the value of the video game developer's license to produce Star Trek-themed games. In 1998, Activision entered a 10-year licensing arrangement with Viacom that gave it exclusive rights to produce Star Trek titles across all gaming platforms.

Developed by Freeform Interactive, Purge players become members of the Order and the Chosen, with each side seeking elimination of the enemy and individual party survival. This Limited Test will become the game demo to be released during the launch of One Must Fall: Battlegrounds in Q3, 2003. 10,000 downloads will be provided for the Limited Test including OMF keepsakes available with game presales.

Team Terminator has released a patch for their Beta v1.0 for their tactical multiplayer mod for Quake 3, True Combat. Some of the features of this mod are: new player models with new animations, all weapons animated including reload animations, smoke and flashbangs effects, knife impacts on environment, new gamemodes, and much more. The game, which took three years to plan and has been in development for two years, is an action game that allows players to experience numerous Hollywood-style spy scenes.
