While never officially announced, The Crossing is an FPS game set in two different Paris timelines. It also allows for other players to take control of enemies in the single-player storyline, making for more interesting challenges. According to Arkane Studios' CEO Raphael Colantonio, the project has been put on hold due to unexpected financial challenge. On the other hand, Arkane is working on an FPS RPG and a casual strategy game for the iPhone.

Tony Hawk Gets a New Ride

Activision put the Tony Hawk franchise on hold a little while back to revamp the franchise and better compete with EA's Skate series. While there is no official announcement yet, Activision has made it clear that this year it will be releasing a new skateboarding title, now revealed as Tony Hawk Ride. The new game will make use of a replica skateboard as a controller, like Nintendo's Wii balance board, fully loaded with sensors allowing you to do all sort of tricks like grabs, flips, jumps and such.
