Tripwire Interactive's Killing Floor is a first-person co-op survival horror, set in and around London after a mad scientist’s “specimens” have broken loose and gone on the rampage.

Bionic Commando Rearmed is a makeover of the classic 8-bit game released 20 years ago, but with updated visuals, new weapons, online rankings, a reworked musical score and the addition of a 2-player co-op mode. Capcom is prepping an update adding Trophies to the PS3 edition, as well as various tweaks and bug fixes.

Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content, starting with Qore June 2009, Metal Gear Solid ($9.99), demo for NCAA Football 10, free DLCs for MotorStorm Pacific Rift and Cross Edge, song packs for Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band, as well as the usual game/movie trailers and PS3 themes.

EA announced that John Schappert, founder of EA Tiburon and Microsoft's Live Software Division, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, responsible for Worldwide Publishing, the Online Platform Group, EA Interactive, Central Development Services and other divisions of the company.

Metal Gear Solid takes place in the southern Alaska region around the Bering Sea. The player takes control of Solid Snake, a retired military soldier who is ordered to infiltrate a nuclear weapons facility to eliminate a genetically enhanced Special Forces unit.

WH 40k: Dawn of War II takes players to the brutal frontlines of war where they’ll experience intense action and visceral combat through a non-linear single player experience and a fully co-op campaign. The v1.4 patch coming this summer will add tremendous value to the multiplayer experience through new features, major balance improvements, and new content.

The guys over at Bioware sure like to keep busy, it seems. Not only are they working on Action/RPGs Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 as well as its MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic, but according to former employee Christopher Tudor Smith's resume, who was a principle lead designer over at Bioware until April 2009, there is also a fourth, unannounced AAA project in the works. Since this is an all-new IP, don't expect any formal announcements anytime soon.

Inspired by the landmark 1988 arcade hit, Splatterhouse combines visceral, adrenaline-soaked combat with horror elements to deliver an original gaming experience that defies the boundaries of the traditional action category with over-the-top gore and shocking new gameplay mechanics. Having been tossed around between development studios, Splatterhouse wasn't on display at E3, nor its Editors Day, since Namco wanted the devs to focus on the game, not a demo.

Known for its over-the-top style of gameplay, The Bigs 2 focuses on the big fast-paced moments in Major League Baseball with new opportunities to go up against MLB legends, more mini-games like Home Run Pinball, and a variety of other new features.
