Disney Interactive announced that Kyoto-based Jupiter Corp. is developing Spectrobes II, continuing the adventures of Rallen and Jeena, planetary patrol officers sent to investigate the mysterious fossilized creatures known as Spectrobes. Spectrobes II will feature a new enemy known as Krux and new Spectrobes as well as the opportunity to play as both Jeena and Rallen.

Red Octane has released the 4th downloadable content pack for GH 2 on Xbox Live Marketplace, offering 3 new songs (Wanna Be Sedated/The Ramones, Smoke on the Water/Deep Purple, and You've Got Another Thing Coming/Judas Priest) for 500 points ($6.25). So far more than 300,000 downloadable song packs were sold, and despite outrage from a lot of game fans, Red Octane's head of publishing Dusty Welch said it will not lower the price.
