High Energy Productions' producer Keisuke Kikuchi announced Project Rygar will be an all-new Wii exclusive title, not a PS2 port. Expected later this year in Japan, Project Rygar will introduce a new hero and use the Wiimote to control Rygar's trademark weapon, the Diskarmor.

Last week rumors started flying TECMO was working on a new Wii title, and at its Nite Out 07 press conference earlier it was confirmed, Project Rygar is in the works. High Energy Productions' producer Keisuke Kikuchi announced it will be an all-new Wii exclusive title, not a PS2 port, Project Rygar is expected later this year, will introduce a new hero and the Wiimote will control Rygar's trademark weapon, the Diskarmor.
