Earlier this week rumors went wild that 2K Games informed us that the eagerly anticipated Serious Sam 2 demo will be released tomorrow morning at 10AM EDT (7am PST). The single/multiplayer demo will feature the complete Seriousopolis Uptown level, playable over LAN and co-op with up to four people, all weapons included and will also have one of the vehicles. Of course we will have the demo available on our fileserver network at the aforementioned time.

forum post reveals plans for a Serious Sam 2 demo, said to be released a month before the game is scheduled to ship to stores. Certain outlets have SS 2 listed for October 10th, so that could mean that the demo could arrive ted as early as September. And Xbox demo is also scheduled, but won't arrive until later. If you pre-order now through EBGames or GameStop, you will get an original, LIMITED EDITION piece of artwork, signed, numbered and illustrated by famed comic book artist Greg Horn (

Developed by Climax, the newest addition to the popular first-person shooter franchise features online play for up to eight players and two-player split screen action on the PlayStation 2, a four-player deathmatch option on the Nintendo GameCube, and two-player cooperative mode for both platforms.
